Youri, Michael R. D.
Michael is a competent and a highly motivated Biochemist/Food Scientist with a legal background (Barrister at Law). He is a strategic planner with considerable programme development and management experience and offers practical application of development knowledge whilst eager to learn in an ever-changing environment. From April, 2012 to date, he worked with Kpatsa& Co: Solicitors, Advocates and Notary Public as an associate counsel. He equally works at GIMPA as an Adjunct Lecturer in Total Quality Management from September 2010 to date. From February, 2003 – January, 2010 Michael worked with the Food and Drugs Board, Ghana as the Head, Industrial Support Services unit supporting industry through audit, training and implementation of food safety and quality management systems. Together with other members of the unit, pursuing a proactive or preventive approach of ensuring that Small to Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs) in the food industry obtain technical assistance readily from the Board to facilitate the implementation of food safety and quality management systems for consumer protection. He is a Barrister at Law (a graduate from Ghana School of Law), holds M.Phil. in Food Science from University of Ghana, Legon and BSc. (Hons) Biochemistry, from University of Science and Technology, Kumasi.
